People who are specialists on the interwebs are fucking idiot'sI made the mistake of clicking on the link. I have now lost braincells because of it. I don't know what scope he's using, I've never seen a parallax knob adjust for elevation.
I read somewhere that a screwdriver was found either near the rifle or in his backpack don't remember which, so maybe he did remove the stock ,probably just two bolts and maybe one , I'm surprised they haven't shown any video of him carrying the rifle to the event ,everything appears to be after the shot.I can't see how he smuggled that up there in his clothes. Unless he took the stock and the barreled action up separate.
Not that it matters but he acknowledged he was wrong in comments
They have.I'm surprised they haven't shown any video of him carrying the rifle to the event
That can remove it.In almost every single case, they should just remove the stupid video- or is that not something a YT'er can do on their own channel?
They choose not to, though. It's a real thing called engagement farming. Even though the information is wrong, they know people will watch the video, interact and call them out on it in the comments, etc. This "farms" more engagement—earning them more clicks, views, comments, and revenue. That can remove it.
They also can edit that part out and replace it with the edited video.
Easy peezy.
Yeah, then they can make a second video about how they were wrong. They choose not to, though. It's a real thing called engagement farming. Even though the information is wrong, they know people will watch the video, interact and call them out on it in the comments, etc. This "farms" more engagement—earning them more clicks, views, comments, and revenue.
According the Sheriff, they believe he separated the action from the stock and then reassembled once in position. Apparently his DNA was all over the screw driver, rifle and a towelI can't see how he smuggled that up there in his clothes. Unless he took the stock and the barreled action up separate.
