Rifle Scopes Dumb question on NF A 118 rings....

So, I am putting a leupold on a 308... have the bases loctited on and am now in the process of putting these rings on... well, they're on now... but here's the question... I did not "loctite" the large screw that hold the ring mount on the base. Did'nt think it needed it.... is that correct or should I go back and loctite it?

Don't need it, just torque to spec.
