Dumb Stupid Question- Maybe ???

Guys,

I have been reading with interest about guys trying to adjust a Tikka T3 magazine to make it take the longer Berger VLD bullets.The guys had been rather ingenious but had varying levels of success.

Then I saw this image.

Would it not be easier to try and adjust the next size up magazine ???

Dont have a tikka, but I would think that could create problems with reliability. Might be worth a shot though. Any other info on it?

I will wager that the larger magazines will have issues with the undersized cartridge fitting with the lips... I am not sure how you could easily get around this. Then again, I have not seen the tikka mags up close.

Depending how much clearance you need, you may be better off removing material from the front of the magazine.

I have read about guys doing that with horrible reliability results. Like only feeding 1/5 properly.

I suppose you could always single feed
