Duplicating POI with and without a can?

Is it just a matter of having two different sets of dope for the weapon?

I would think this is the case but I wonder if anyone has tried something like the Sims De_Resonator?

My understanding was that the harmonics does play a role, but its more that that suppressor "pulls" the barrel down on lightweight barrel contours.

Most suppressors that are mounted on the end of a barrel pull the barrels down as stated above, some like the Surefire or other design that overlaps the barrel usually have minimal shift or none at all. Usually the shorter and thicker the barrel, the better the results with poa/poi shift with a can.

I am running a 338 can on a 26" 6.5. No POI change.
