Eagle Hybrid Bag Tassels?

I just got my Eagle hybrid rile case/drag bag, and it has tassels at various points on the bottom of it. At first I thought it may be for attaching veg but it is on the bottom if you were dragging it. Any ideas on what they're for?

They're on the opposite side from the pack straps correct? If so they are for attaching veg, burlap, etc...

Yeah I guess it would work when you're carryin it. Its kind of odd there would be no where to attach it while stalking. Thanks for the help.

That side sits up when you would be crawling.
