So I know this is a dead horse that’s been beat 1000 times so what’s another beating. SHOOTING BENCHES! There’s a million different styles out there and everyone has their preferences. I ran across this website/article from Sierra bullets and decided it was laid out really nicely, easy to follow and relatively cheap to do without a whole lot of trial and error.
I decided to build it. It cost me right around 200$ to build and the only thing I changed was the seat. I’m right around 6’3 and I shoot with guys on my personal range down to 5’4. So I decided to not build the seat portion and go buy a Hydraulic Rolling shop chair so people of all sizes can get comfortable. I really recommend this bench.
