I just did a search and didn't see anything recent, so if I've missed something, don't light me up.

Anyone actually tried one of these yet? Price aside, I'm curious to hear feedback from any sort of field use. Thanks.

Bought one earlier this year direct from Eberlestock. Was delivered in 2 days, no wait. Fits nicely in my Eberlestock X3 pack when folded. (Hate long hikes carrying a rifle on a sling) Folding mechanism locks up nice and solid. The monopod works great. Was already used to fill two javelina tags.

I knew a guy that thought he was fancy. He put an actual window in his stand. Only thing was be put it in upside down, so instead of the pane sliding up, it slid down. I didn't think much of it until I saw him using the two panes as his rifle rest. I never asked him what happened to that window when introduced to recoil for the first time... :)

What's the actual weight of the chassis? Is it under 1 kg?

I don't have an accurate scale to weigh it. Eberlestock website states the shipping weight is 4 pounds and it feels close to that. I'm curious to see how much their new Cobra chassis will weigh in comparison and if it will be offered in a folding version.

I was told, no plans for a folder on the Cobra. I sure would like the M11 for a Winchester! They will be using the FNH TBM mags, 5 or 10 round. They say this years end for that.
