I'm wondering about the effect on accuracy of varying amounts of neck tension. I'm currently running only 0.001" tension on a .308 for some reasons I won't bore you with. I've just ordered a bushing 0.001" smaller. Should I expect improved accuracy? Is it possible to have to little tension?

YES. Too little and you can push the bullet back into the cases when feeding. OR...when you try to run a compressed load, the OAL will vary all over the place because the bullet tries to creep out.
