Hello Hide! Been gleaning useful info off this site for a long time now, thought it was time I finally join up. For my inaugural post, I'd like to solicit some opinions on a upper that I've got some interest in.
I am in search of a Grendel upper. The goal is an intermediate range hunting rifle, and cheap target shooting out to 600. I am aware of the two best options: JP and Precision Firearms. I can do that if I need to, but the wait times are long. I found the Eisenach Grendel upper, and was wondering if it would do as good a job as my first two choices for a lil less money and wait time. Website claims it's a Satern 18" barrel, and the left side charging handle seems like it would be cool.
I am not a reloader, so sub-moa with the good factory match ammo is a must. Are these uppers pretty solid, or should I just cowboy up and wait for one of the proven performers?
