Gunsmithing Electrohemical bore cleaning?????

I recently purchased a bunch of reloading supplies. In the lot I found an electrochemical bore cleaning tool. I understand the concept, but have never used this method and have never seen this method used. Anyone have info.

Does it work?
Is it safe?

It works, and it's safe as long as you follow directions. Is it an Outers unit? If it is, I'd ask them for instructions for it. Otherwise, run a web search and you'll find all kinds of stuff.
