What is the plan to furnish power to all of these charging stations?
_______

The Biden administration this week rolled out a plan to allocate $5 billion to states to fund electric vehicle chargers over five years, as part of the bipartisan infrastructure package that includes $7.5 billion to build a sprawling network of EV charging stations across the country.

The investment is part of the administration’s broader agenda to combat human-caused climate change and advance the clean energy transition. The Biden administration has touted EVs as more affordable for Americans than gas-powered cars and has pledged that half the vehicles sold in the U.S. will be electric or plug-in hybrids by 2030.

Can we expect the same return we got from our Solyndra investment?

Wasn't he supposed to build his own electric trucks?
Which he tried to sell with their acceleration rate, which is the least interesting information to any logistics company and with no mention of weight or payload.

Here are some electric trucks that actually work:

Maybe stop thinking and behaving as if it were a gasoline or diesel powered car (because it isn't) and plug it in every time you park it.
Gee, if only people had something they could learn that habit with, like a battery powered, pocket telephone.

Lithium is NOT about environmental preservation. Lithium mines are destructive, built in the areas of poor and indigenous people, and use incredibly huge amounts of water in areas already short of water. It is NOT clean energy. Plus cost of replacement is onerous, not to mention, that recharging involves coal-fired and gas fired generations plants. The drying ponds pictured were from an article 8 yers ago. The technology hasn't changed. The salt flats overlie the Lithium deposits, are pumped up in a slurry, and left to dry over hundreds of acres per mine.
Waste and runoff plus air contamination from air-driven particles have a huge impact. OH, it's ok, as long as it's NIMBY. There is a proposed mine slated for the Oregon California border near tribal grounds. It will pull down local lakes and water tables, poison the water, kill ducks and other water foul, and deeply impact the tribe. In the name of being green. I'll let you google it for yourself.
