What brands would you recommend? I've noticed that some seem to be put together better than others.
Also, would you rather have torsion or leaf spring suspension?

Torsion If mostly highway. Spring if mostly off-road.

Can’t help on brands to much. I have a hallmark gooseneck that’s decent but it’s the only enclosed I have used. If you’re looking for aluminum one make sure to find one that’s riveted vs welded.

Also make sure there’s plenty of tie down points on the inside! Just because it’s enclosed doesn’t mean stuff won’t move around a lot if not properly secured.

It depends on what you plan on using it for. Lots of companies make cargo trailers that are just plain white aluminum boxes for hauling crap with. if you want something nicer get a Haulmark. They cost more but they are well worth it. If you will be hauling bikes get one of the Haulmark low deck dovetail trailers. Mine is a low deck wide body that will haul 3 dresser Harleys. It a lot wider than my crew cab truck, but the roof line is the same as the truck. Also keep in mind they make trailers with the tires outside the body and trailers with the tire inside the body. When you get a trailer with the tire inside the body you have a big box wheel well taking up space inside.

Rock Solid in Georgia builds a good one. Reedy Branch trailer sales is the best dealer to buy from.

Been very pleased with mine. Also have a friend who uses his for business hauling. His has almost 100K miles, and has had no issues.
