So I've read a bit about bipods on here. I like the idea of having the gun stay put while sitting and waiting for hogs. My rifle is pretty heavy now, and I also like to have a shogun with me. I have a short set of shooting sticks I made and my buddy made a couple sets of tall shooting sticks with carpet on top for sitting in the chairs.
My gun is well balanced, balance point is in front of the magazine.
