It's the Church of Global Warming, ready to sacrifice any who question manipulated data on the altar of Mother Gaia by their high priest Owl Gore. The same guy who said he would be the first carbon billionaire and had a $30,000 plus electric bill then flies in nasty planet killer jets from place to place.
As an aside and kinda interesting fact, the same person that came up with financial derivatives came up with carbon trading. Blythe Masters of Goldman Sachs. There's more than one way to destroy an economy.
In the 80s it was the coming Ice Age. Then Global Warming. Later it morphed to climate change. Currently it's climate disruption.
Contantly changed so that no matter what happens, they claim to be right. Pure crap science from selective data manipulation, any contrary data thrown out to arrive at a predetermined conclusion of political convenience.
So now the EPA declares CO2 a pollutant. What?
The same CO2 we exhale every breath, used by plants which then emit that oxygen stuff. The viet congress should fund them to the tune of $1.00 a year until they figure out what their actual job is.
Cap and trade does what exactly? Government sells companies the right to "pollute" with CO2, increasing the price of production and use of energy. That price is then passed to the consumer like other business taxes. Spain embraced green jobs and now has 20% unemployment. Nice.
That's what's so funny about the electric cars, most of which wouldn't pull a sick whore off a pisspot and have the cargo capacity of sandwich baggie. Coal provides about 70% of US electricity. Ask a hippy about how they like promoting the use of coal and watch their heads explode.
Ask them what happens when the wind don't blow and the sun don't shine, about the all the nasty chemicals used to produce photocells and deep cycle storage batteries.
Wind turbines made where? What happens to prices when fed.gov subsidies are removed? It goes the way of ethanol.
They will look at you like you have two heads, they simply do not comprehend economics or how power grids work.
Those twinkletoed tofu eating tree hugging commies won't be happy until we all live in mud huts and eat grass soup. It has to be their way or nothing. Well, screw them. Like most revolutionary idiots, they think they are gonna get a free pass for supporting the cause du jour. They will not.
