Rifle Scopes Eotech VUDU 5-25 Resolution

Has anyone else owned one of these and noticed it is very hard to get a decent image of holes in paper at 100yds? I'm finding it does not show the detail or clarity very well. Next to a Razor AMG, Mk5 3-18, NX8, and even Gen 1 PST 4-16 it doesn't stand up at all. I can clearly tell 6mm holes in paper at 100yd with the above optics, but very muddy with the Vudu.

I had one and it sucked. In bright desert conditions, it had tons of purple chromatic aberration.

Good to know. Looking at the Vudu 3-18 or Steiner T5X 3-15. I am in the desert as well so it's always sunny and bright. Might have to look elsewhere!

I had a vudu 5-25, a nx8 4-32, and a mk5 3-18 out shooting side by side one day. The vudu was very disappointing in every way. Sold it the next day.

I like the nx8 better in every way. It's a hell of a scope, without being too heavy. I own about 10 high end scopes. and the nx8 holds it's own for the cost of it. I haven't tried the 2.5-20, cause I've heard it's not as good. But I may dump my mk5 and try one.
