Equipment exchange problem?

Bought a 5 round 6.5 barrel off the for sale sale section. This is how it arrived. would you be ok with that?

They just shoved it down in there, and shipped? Or did the tape/cap get tore off in shipping, and was then damaged? Hell, your probably lucky anything was even in the tube.

It couldn't have traveled that way. Looks like damage through a thin end with no padding? If it's just damage to the thread protector, it did it's job but I'd still be pissed. It's not that hard to pack stuff well.

I imagine the barrel tore through the tape on that side.
Yeah I'm surprised I didnt just pay $600 for a card board tube.

Lol the picture with it leaning against the shed is how it was delivered. Surprising.
Tell me about it. Last time I shipped a barrel I read about how many get f ed up in transit so I put it I a cardboard tube then in a regular square box and taped the crap out of the tube. And that was just a $100 AAC barrel.
If the barrel wasn't a good deal and I wasn't planning on shooting suppressed I would probably demand a refund. Glad whoever made the thread protector, made it deep.

Well, yeah........that is probably the shippers fault. Its not like we're all unaware of how rough shipping organizations handle stuff.
