Little known piece of US history:
Conservative Americans passed the 13 / 14 / 15 Amendments - the Leftists were opposed to them all. The Leftists became the Klan and did everything they could to deny the enforcement of these Conservative Amendments.
100 yrs later the MSM convinced America that the Civil Rights Movement was something other than what had already been largely enumerated. The Leftist then began to use Racism against Conservatives.
Today they are doing the same thing with the 14th Amendment, which is very clear - you are not a US Citizen simply b/c you were born here.
We were all born into perverse situation wherein our parents and their parents before them were lied to, and those lies became both history, and the reasons for the way things are the way they are today. All people today have been brainwashed all of their lives by the media. Today big data collects information about all of us and pushes information, brands, and concepts at us that reinforce our world view, and yet polarize us at the same time. Choice is becoming more of an illusion. There really is a group within Gov that runs things.....and has always run things.
We may be on the precipices of change.

I'm fairly sure there are probably quite a few Cuban exiles in Florida that won't ever forget it either.
And he, and his mother who died trying to bring him to freedom, were not actually breaking our law, as they had a legal, lawful right to stay here if they managed to escape their Communist prison and make it all the way to US soil.
Funny how the only countries that seem to need to use deadly force and the army or police to keep their citizens from leaving are the great Socialist/Communist "worker's paradises".
Gotta hand it to the left, they are certainly opportunists, do whatever it takes to get a vote (vote whores?)
