Some of you may have seen a couple of my posts expressing how much I like Hakan's Spuhr mounts. I have put my mount's screws through some hell, since I move my scope around often to other people's rifles etc..and the mount has always returned to perfect zero when put back on my rifle. This mount is better than any other mount I have ever used (not going to name any names). It's not as quick to take on and off as the others, and it is a good bit heavier, but the other mounts have showed a slight amount of zero shift whereas the Spuhr has always been dead on.
Well, from all this moving around, you could imagine a screw getting close to being stripped. I sent Hakan a message on here saying my screws were in pretty bad shape, and I asked to buy a whole new complete set. He asked for an address, and shipped them free of charge.
This may not be anything out of the ordinary for the service from Spuhr, but I appreciate these small gestures from companies wanting to take care of their consumers. I just wanted to take the time, and publicly thank Hakan at Spuhr.
