I sent my barreled action to Gunsmith Bob Green in York PA for action work and a rebarrel. I was able to find a Kreiger barrel in the specs i was looking for from Brunos and a Surefire brake from LaRue. After speaking to Bob on the phone for almost an hour i was convinced i would be dealing with a top notch smith and a gentleman to say the least.

After only about 2 1/2 weeks my rifle showed up on my doorstep 4 days after Christmas. I was extremely pleased with the work!! In all, the barrel was chambered and fitted with a semi tight neck(.341) and cut to 24". The action was trued, along with the recoil lug, bolt lugs and face, and the Surefire brake was added. This is my first custom and i can't wait to see how it shoots!! I would highly recommend Mr. Green if anyone is looking for a good smith..

Keep us posted and we want to see pictures of the groups your rifle shoots. He only lives about 2.5 hours from me. He spends alot of time at the Bodines 1000 yard club. I have herd from several people he builds a great rifle.

Yeah, Bobs okay... I have had him do most all my gun smithing and never had a problem. He will anwer any questions and is on th 6 BR forum's top gunsmith list. Not only is he a good smith but a all round nice guy! Can't go wrong with Bob! He just doesn't get into the big stuff 338's. He really likes to do BR guns and is very well known for it. But when he does something it's right and done well. Yeah, Bobs okay

My shooting buddy has bob do a lot of his smiting and talks highly of him. He is picky and the only other smith jim will use other than Bob is Jon Beanland! Lee
