This is my SIG Europa Sport in .223 with a Hensoldt RM 6x42 Mil Dot Scope.

At the moment im playing with 22,3 grain N133 behind a 69grain
Sierra Matchking, OAL 58,5mm, Not completly resized, S&B brass, CCI Primer.

V0=835m/s out of the 500mm barrel

Does anyone have experience with this powder-bullet-combi?

Kind regards from Ulm, Germany

Mike

The europa sport is made by SAR no?

I'm not sure if they use an original Swiss Arms barrel.

With my Swiss barrel on my Swiss Arms (mine is 1 in 10 twist. Most are this twist) I get good results (.75-1.15 MOA 5/shots 100m) with the lighter bullets 52-53gr Seirra with H322 powder. I have a friend in Germany that gave me this advice, the swiss 1in10 bbls really prefer the lighter bullets.

Yes, mine is one of the last ones manufactured in Neuhausen/swiss.

I think that the army- barrel is hammer forged, the civil barrel is gas- nitrocarburated (hard surface) and mabe comes from Lother- Walther- Germany.

The GP-90 cartridge has got a 62 grain bullet- so i like to try the heavy bullets first...thank you for the tip with the light Sierras...
