Hey All:

I need a new project to add some color to life and so I thought I would get some feedback and hopefully legit responses. Not the verbal garbage of opinions, so here goes. I have a Stiller Tac 300 in a 7/300 with a burned out bart barrel. Although I love the caliber I don't want to barrel and keep it going since I regularly shoot ELR and 7 just hurts my spotting ability solo. So I checked around and pacific makes a lapua bolt replacement for tac 300 receiver. Any thoughts on going to this in a 300 norma? It would be single feed I think, as case won't feed through receiver and I'm not looking at going crazy with costs. Just want something I can shoot maybe even factory ammo although I prefer to reload. I need legit thoughts or let the post die. Yes bigger receiver is better and on an on but this is a simple repurpose of a gun that sits in rack. I shoot 6's for my mid/long range and 375 and up for mile and beyond and want that fun mile shooter without going for custom again.

Thanks
Aaron
