Explain this scope design to me.

Marketed as an air rifle scope.

"Zero eye relief".
Ultra wide fov.
Small objective for a 12x.

I haven't seen this combination of features before.

Mate, the quickest way to kill a scope or at least a cheap one is to put it on a old style air rifle....... Far harder on scopes than the average small calibre centre fire/rimfire are.

Who knows, but springer air gun recoil is a 2 impulse beast. This maker produces scopes that all handle centerfire recoil.

I've used them on milsurps. Not looking to buy Chinese optics especially after the last year.

I just want to learn about such a design.

You would be amazed at how many scopes aren't rated for airguns. They have the same recoil problem the scar has with backwards recoil.


Hawke makes good stuff, just don't see much of it over here.
