your paddle on the side?... not much will clear the receiver, like a BAD lever wont work..

Yes, there are a couple levers like the BAD. And i've seen a couple that are 1 piece that replace exsisting lever.

I'd like to find a new charging handle as well.. I have big gorilla hands and my scope hangs over the handle a ways and its PITA to charge my weapon...
Im almost contemplating something like the side charging handle Fulton does..

Dependent on which DPMS upper you have their isn't much room on the side of the reciever for a paddle to clear. I've had one of these since March and am quite satisfied with it. In stall took about 5 min.

Phase5 looks like the only 1 piece replacement one on the market for the full-sized DPMS

I have the Phase Five lever on my Mega and love it, as far as using a charging handle, I have a BCM on my mega as well and love it. I'm using the Medium with good results.
