Extended mags for FN bolt rifles?

I tried searching, but didn't get too far. I just picked up an FN PBR XP in McMillan, stock, and I am curious if there are extended mags available for the factory detach system. It came with 2x four round mags, and I would like to pick up something with a little more capacity. Thanks!

+1 for CDI. I have one of his bottom metals going on my SPR action. He'll inlet the stock and install it for you. I think its $40 for the installation IIRC.

Re: Extended mags for FN bolt rifles?

Both the stock and the receiver need to be modified to run AICS mags in the Win 70/FN SPR.

Re: Extended mags for FN bolt rifles?

Why and what needs to be modified on the reciever to run the CDI bottom metal? if he made the bottom metal to run with the FN SPR, then why does he need to the reciever to match his bottom metal too it?

only thing that should be is the different size of bottom metal area that should come out of a stock... I.E. if i want to do this, then I either need to tell McMillan to inlet it for me or send the stock to CDI once i recieve it.

I had a friend of mine mill mine and it functions flawlessly . HEres a crappy cell phone pic of what needs to be done to the frt of the fn reciever for cdi bottom metal
