In early November I picked up a like new Remington R15 VTR in 223 from a guy at work for a price I couldn't refuse. I've owned lots of AR's but never hunted with them, so I thought I would use it for predators.

I admit I'm a gun snob and it just wasn't the perfect gun for me, so I sold off everything but the stripped lower. Starting in early December I bought all the parts and pieces I needed to build my dream predator AR15, and luckily got it all before the shit hit the fan.

I sent out the upper parts to Hydro-Dip in Idaho to be dipped in Kryptek Highlander and just got them back. The barrel I sent to Kampfeld Custom and had Karl work his Helical magic.

Later down the road when things settle down I'm going to get a billet Noveske lower, thats why I left the R-15 lower in Max-1.

    Thanks for the compliments,
b3dlam I highly recommend Hydro-Dip they did a great job on it.

Sr15match, I got the itch for a Noveske Chainsaw and shit hit the fan before I could get one. I'll use the R-15 for another build when that day comes in the very distant future.
