Shit like this pisses me the hell off to no end.

The officer shot was a good friend of mine. Actually had dinner with him right after the SB. He graduated Magna cum laude of his class at the academy, officer of year at his old dept and is a current trainer for the HPD and this POS wants to put in question his actions? What a fucking joke!

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Family and supporters of a 19-year-old man accused of shooting a Houston police officer who interrupted a suspected burglary said the officer did not identify himself before he was shot.
“The young man has indicated to us that the officer was not in uniform and did not identify himself. He did not know it was a cop and he panicked and this was a result of him not knowing who was wrestling and attacking him,” said community activist Quanell X, who appeared with the family of Patrick Carnell Freeman Jr. after Freeman's arraignment this morning.
“That in no way condones an officer being shot. That in no way condones someone's home being broken in to,” Quanell X said.
Freeman's father said the family is praying for his son and officer Frank L. Pierce, who is expected to recover.
Prosecutor Don Smyth scoffed at the assertion after Freeman's brief court appearance.
“I don't think there's any question that he knew he was an officer. We know that everybody else knew he was an officer based on the gear he was carrying and the clothing he was wearing.”
Smyth said Pierce was wearing uniform pants, a t-shirt with a badge on it and was carrying his police rain jacket and other police gear.
“Nobody would mistake him for anything other than a police officer.”
Freeman remains in custody on bail totaling $200,000 after being charged with aggravated assault and burglary in Monday's attack at the Alexan Bunker Hill apartments in the 9700 block of Pine Lake in west Houston.
Although Freeman could have been charged with attempted capital murder, Smyth said aggravated assault carries the same maximum punishment — life in prison — and is a simpler case to prove to a jury.
A 14-year-old alleged accomplice of Freeman is in the custody of the Harris County Juvenile Probation Department, facing a burglary charge.
Freeman has been convicted of burglary and harassing a public servant, according to court records.
In court, Smyth said Pierce was shot before noon Monday while leaving his apartment to go to work.
The officer walked past an apartment door that had been kicked in and saw the 14-year-old boy coming out of the apartment carrying several things, including a flat-screen TV, and ordered the youth to the ground.
While he was trying to handcuff the juvenile, Freeman came out of the apartment and got into a struggle with the officer, Smyth said.
Police said Freeman is accused of pulling a pistol he had stolen from the woman's apartment and shooting Pierce twice in the abdomen.
Freeman and the juvenile fled, dropping most of the stolen items in an outdoor breezeway, the wounded officer returned fire, but did not hit them, police said.
The two escaped in a stolen truck and later were captured by Jersey Village officers, police said.

That's the BS that pisses all Americans off. Does that fuck work for the ACLU? Gone are the good days where trails were swift and justice was the end of a rope. Now we give assholes like that college degrees while their in prison. Along with all other kinds of shit, everyone should look to Sheriff Joe rounding up illegals in AZ thats the way to have prisoners.
