Probably an odd request, but I do not currently handload, I recently completed my 6.25" 300blk SBR and I'm looking to buy some ammo for it. With a shorter than normal barrel I'm looking for off the shelf subsonic rounds that are still >900fps. I bought some Remington 220gr ammo specifically because I read quite a few reviews where people stated it was going supersonic in their 16" guns. Anyone try some factory subs that tend to be on the speedier side? I'd like to try a few different brands before ordering a case.

I get about 4/20 Remington 220s that go super in my 16". Never tried any others. I always reload as there are so many options

It's funny, most of the negative reviews I've seen on the Remington 220gr ammo is for something that is actually beneficial in my particular situation.

I ordered a chronograph this afternoon so I'll pick up a few boxes of different ammo to try. Hoping to find something under $1/round that can group 2 MOA or less and stay above 900fps. I'll order a couple cases to hold me over till I get setup to handload.

How did the Remingtons group for you.? Mine shoot around 1.5 moa. I've actually shot them to 300 yds and can get hits more often than not. They aren't bad for the money
