Factory primed Lapua?

I recently purchased a box of unprimed 308 Lapua cases from Midway. When they arrived, I broke the seal I found the cases were already primed. Midway referred me to Lapua & I'm waiting for a response from Lapua but I wanted to see if anyone else has encountered this?

That's odd. I've never heard of lapua selling primed brass. And it was factory sealed?

The box was sealed on the sides with the factory Lapua sticker. Thanks for looking into this for me Kevin. I'm in no real rush to use the brass, I'm just a little hesitant to use primed brass with unknown primers.

But if you only neck size after fireforming then why not just use them for fireforming? Probably just cases from the Lapua Ammo line that made their way into the components bin.

Chances are that the primers are European like RWS, Tula, etc.

When did you buy them? I just got a box of brass and it was unprimed. May have to get another box to see and save 100 primers for fireforming...
