Rifle Scopes Factory Refurbs?

Natchez's has Nikon factory refurbs for a really decent price- around 1/3 or more off new price.
I've bought plenty of electronic items as refurbs and have never been disappointed.

Anyone bought a factory refurbed scope, and was your experience positive?

Combined with the sale they're having until midnight, if I move quick I can get one hell of a deal...

I've picked up some referb stuff. Usually it is someting that got sent back for repair or was out as demo stuff. Has ring marks or other cosmetic defects but have been gone throuh and fixed functionally. Generally carry the same MFG warranty to but you might check.

I'm suprised to see the Nikons only offer a 90 day warranty on the refurbished scopes. That's enough for me to not buy one.
