I wouldn't.You just spent 5K on a rifle, at least put some worthy glass on it.If you're tapped out a Super Sniper WILL work very nicely and it's reasonably priced....plus you could sell it down the road and get most your money back.

I put a 20x SS on my 2ond 50 cal because I could not afford a NF when I got the gun. I bought it to get out to a shoot and expected to order the NF as soon as I could afford it. It has been on there for over 2 years now and I don't expect to change it anytime soon as it has been great so far. I am only using this rifle for daytime shooting so it works fine. The 20x glass is not as bright as some of my other scopes but for popping propane tanks and gongs it works great.

Falcon are tested until to .338 LM

Somebody here had one of the prototypes on a Barrett for 50 rounds or so. I have one mounted on my 99 but haven't been to the range with it yet. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't hold up. It's definitely better than the Bushnell Elite that comes in the Barrett kit.

NF 8-32x56 if you can drop that much cash is a great choice. Look for a scope with a "etched glass reticule" as these hold up much better to the reverse recoil a big brake on a 50 gives.Stay away from leupold the reticules shake loose.(great during a match)

I think im liking the FFP. Plus, i dont have the cash to drop 1500+ on a scope. what kind of glass are the falcon scopes?

take a look at that new Weaver tactical scope...has all the features you want at a price you can afford( crissakes I sound like a commercial)

On the opticswarehouse website they call the reticle the enhanced long range mildot, is that the same as the regular enhanced mildot?

Man it looks like nobody wants to give you an answer...Well ill tell you the Falcon is a great scope for the money. I would put it on a gun way before a Super sniper and as for glass its pretty good. Give Robert at RWSGUNSMITHING a call or a PM. He has some in stock and will shoot you straight. If money is tight put you a 5x25 falcon on that baby and shoot the shit out of it....

I have one on my AR-10 and love it. While its not a 50 caliber, I have had no problems with mine.

ive got 750 rounds down my bmg with a varixIII and have NO problems what so ever
