That is the goal. Giving up on a custom bolt action 6.5 Grendel build due to magazine compatibility and reliability issues and going to build a 22 Creedmoor in its place. Looking for a 10lb rifle with a carbon fiber barrel and was looking at a Big Horn TL3 to build off of.

Unless... There are other actions that are faster to operate the bolt with minimal sight picture disturbance.

Input welcome from anyone that has done comparisons.

No heavy vs light bolt lift aficionados out there?
I’ve got a blue printed and lapped 700 that runs like greased lightning. It’s a fast lift and smooth function, but it’s probably got 7000 cycles on it between live and dry fire.
My DT SRS A2 is a bit clunky and has a heavy bolt lift, but it’s not awful if my position is solid.

Stiller Predator is a nice action. I've ran one while hunting and let me tell you, I've never ran a bolt so fast in my life and shot that brass so damn far without messing up my sight picture it was like a lightning strike

I enjoy cycling my nucleus more than anything I've had. I have a terminus Zeus that is growing on me, but the lift is noticeable for sure
