Hello All,

Would anyone care to share their favorite 110 grain loads for .308? I've tried a number of bullets in my Savage .308 (1:10 twist), but the 110 gr Sierra varminter seems to be its favorite so far. I also plan to try some Bergers and the Vmax of the same weight. Primary use is paper at 100 yards, with the occasional groundhog thrown into the mix. Also, if you care to share your typical group for the load, that would be helpful.

By the way, I do own several manuals, I'm just trying to speed up the process, since I don't manage to get as much range time as I would like. My current best load is 47.0 gr Varget in a Lapua case, seated 0.005" off the lands, CCI LR primers. I average 5-shot groups of ~0.75" at 100 yds off a cheap set of sandbags, with a few groups just over 0.5" (I know, I need to practice more and use a better rest

). I've also tried 4064 with less than stellar results, and have some RL-7 (sierra manual recommendation) loaded up to try for my next range trip.

Thanks in advance for your advice!
