Favorite Scope Lens Covers for ATACR 5-25 56mm

Look at the Vortex Defenders. They work great and not overly expensive at about $20 a cap. Strong and lock all the way back.

Yeah. Vortex defenders are the best for the money. You can do Butler Creek at $10/each if you like replacing them often. Aadmount would probably be the best but they’re pretty spendy. Tenabraex are also good but still pretty expensive and I didn’t like fishing the objective cover out of the scabbard every time I pulled the rifle out.

The Vortex Defenders are what I have on that very scope. I will say I sanded off the Vortex logo, though. But they fit pretty snug, lock tight, and fold flat against the scope and click so they stay there and don’t flop about. I did have a bit of an issue with the ocular cover. It was raining pretty heavily and i went to open it. They were locked closed tight enough that it peeled the cover off the scope, then opened, flipping it into a big mud puddle. After that I secured them with a couple of black zip ties.

I liked them enough on that scope that I have been buying them for all my scopes.

Edited to add: If it’s simply for storage then get a scopecoat or whatever it’s called. It’s like a neoprene sleeve to put over the scope. That’ll still keep the dust off it but also protect from safe rash from other rifles if they bang together.

I went with Tenebraex, if they don't have it they can make it, including ARDs. As long as it's under 2.xx something though, still can't find a cap to fit a USO spotter.

The Tenebraex shit is pretty solid, not cheap but solid. Caps fold all the way back.

I put some Leupold Aluminas on my Bushnell HDMRII 🤪
