FBI director stepping down

I sense a quit or we come after you strategy. Should be prosecuted if freaking Sessions were on the ball

I would have liked to have seen Sessions (ultimately, it would have had to have been Trump) turn the screws on McCabe and get him to squeal. It seems like McCabe's going to get his full retirement and bennies as it stands now. But, it's still very early in this chapter, things can change in the blink of an eye.
Conversely, maybe Sessions really is keeping his powder dry, has (and continues to) amassed enough evidence to get Rosenstein and maybe even Mueller to turn states evidence. I would like to see a bunch of them on the rotisserie, clamoring to spill their beans before their buddies beat them to it. Comey has to be sweating bullets right now.

(edit); per Veer's comment above, to me, this lends credence to the probability that someone told McCabe in no uncertain terms that Trump was going to see to it that the memo was released (and soon (SOTU address). AND, McCabe would face very serious consequences if he didn't willingly throw in the towel. Scratching my head as to why McCabe isn't facing legal trouble though. Maybe team Trump wants to show fence sitters in the Bureau that not everyone will be charged, particularly those who willing come forward with information. A peace offering of sorts. In that context, I can't say I think that's a dumb move. If correct, this could open the floodgates of people coming forward. Hope so.

Great time to invest in Casket and Urn futures. Just say'n. We'll never know the truth, but it would be nice for once. The Bullshit Meter is pegged out on this one already. And that's not by accident as well we know.

I'm getting confused. I thought that the 2-shot, back-of-the-head suicides were so twenty, twenty-five years ago, or so. What I am I missing here?

I'm saying it's not a stretch by any means that "ANY" of the cast of characters come up "Graveyard Dead" outta this whole mess. And then McCabe allegedly comes out and states if he can't walk away with his pension he's gonna "Torch the FBI". Are you fucking kidding me? He'll be lucky to see the first check deposited. Without a doubt if/when "The Memo" gets release it'll be so fucking redacted it'll look like this

but that doesn't mean itchy fingers ain't gonna be still in the game. This is a big deal. It's not going away any time soon. You know I'm no conspiracy theory guy, but this is huge AND IT'S REAL. A lot of people have a lot to lose in this charade. If we get to peel back the sheets a tad we as a nation will be taking a collective gasp in unison. Believe that.

Im thinking of buying some land on the edge of the Okeefenokee..........Im a little hopeful that the swamp will be drying up.

This needs a good "popcorn" GIF.

McCabe leaving will enable and empower those in the know to reveal that which they know. The Genie can no longer be put back in the bottle. Although to a Dem it will be more of a Pandora's box than a genie. Buckle up the Left will not go "gentle into that good night".

The criminal aspect in both parties is holding on tight.

Looks like McCabe withheld Clinton e mails from congress for more than a month... This is the stuff from Weiners computer. He knew about them much earlier but did not pass on to committee. Big no no. He needs to lose pension... And probably jail. Sirhr

Probably jail? How about definitely prosecute to the full extent of the law
