ATTENTION! This s a limited production load from Federal. There is a possibility that the cartridges will be nickel plated instead of brass.

These extraordinary loads combine the legendary Sierra MatchKing bullet with Federal's proven quality standards and stringent manufacturing controls to create a round that is as accurate as a match load, but available from the factory.

Sierra MatchKing bullets have very thin jackets and are held to exacting tolerances in diameter and weight. Can we get cases, or just boxes? Last time I called they could not guarantee a case of the same lot. So I went to Palmetto for the everyday price of $ 21.65 box including shipping.

Palmetto's current price on the 175gr FGMM right now is $19.99/box, making a 500rnd case $511.75 SHIPPED. Not sure about S&H for individual boxes of 20rnds, but still a great price for loaded ammo these days if you don't reload. Also, SW Ammo has their $1/round deal on .308 loaded with 175gr SMKs when you buy at least 200 rounds.

According to their wesbite, both the FGMM .308 and 7.62x51 175gr loads are available. Its possible they just haven't updated their site yet if they told you it was unavailable.

I've been trying to get some 175s from palmetto for about a week. Same thing, they are in stock till you try and put them in the cart.

The 7.62 is in stock, but when you try and add the .308 to your cart you get the message "We do not have enough available to fill your order. Federal Gold Medal Match .308 175gr Sierra MatchKing BTHP 20rds"

Just got these 175s from midway. The rounds I got were in regular brass, not nickel plated.

It was another dumbf--k move by the wonderful legislature in Kommiefornia!!! From what I have seen, the new law was ruled unconstitutional and unenforceable, so it is a dead issue for the time being.

I just ordered a case of 200, who knows what I will get. I just hope that is all the same.

The lady I spoke with said there is no way to know or guarantee that it will all be the same lot or all brass or all nickel...
