I have a good bit of American eagle brass in .308. Its deprimed. There is a small blue ring around the primers. I dont know if its a crimp or what but I was hoping I could reload it. I tried to get a primer in there but it was kinda tough. Ill get a pic of it up here in a sec.

Yes...you can reload that brass...its probably just some sort of glue they put on them. Run them through your tumbler and you shouldn't have any problems with them.

Yes you can reload them. I have reloaded Federals fine in the past. The blue stuff is a sealant for the primer. Make sure you remove the crimp first before you load.

It looks crimped from the picture but could just be the light. When you look at the blue sealant is there a sharp ridge in the brass? It's reloadable either way just takes an extra step to reload the first time.

Yes, there is a small lip before the wall of the primer pocket. I figured it was a crimp and I havent tried to reload those yet.
