Range Report Federal Gold match 175gr .308 vs 7.62x51

Title pretty much says it all.
Is the difference big enough to choose one over the other? Has anyone used either with greatly differing results?

I could be wrong, but my understanding is the 7.62x51 flavor has crimped primers. Other then that they should shoot the same.

They don't shoot the same and a quick search will show this has been covered several times over. (Nothing meant by that, just sharing that info)
