Rifle Scopes FEDEX came by! My NEW US OPTICS!!

fedex stopped by to drop off a package.

sn-3 3.2-17 44 30mm tube
.25 erek with zero stop
m3 windage left side with zero stop
lit ret on right side
cmg ret
2"ARD honey comb

I had an idea of drilling in some dots on the objective bell...something you could feel instead of taking your eye off target. To my surprise they did it and it was only $40 up charge. They even painted them for me.

All the guys and gals at USO are TOP NOTCH. Customer service was exceptional. Can't say enough about the people at USO!!!!

i hate to bug them about that and so far ive been a good boy... but its starting to drive me nuts.

and by the 16 week estimate im down to the final 4....

how you like the windage stop? i got it on mine due to glowing feedback on the feature.

How does the windage stop work? I didn't order it on either one of my SN-3s because I've never seen how one works.

He might be waiting on a Horus reticle or something unusual. I ordered one May 31st and got it in my hands by August 16th.

Don't feel too bad. Supposedly there were some reticles delivered that didn't subtend correctly, so that slowed the process down a few months....and I think there was a big hole in the roof at some point that slowed things down. The scope is supposed to be finished and awaiting QC, so it should arrive shortly.

Brail on an riflescope, how ironic.

First time looking through a USO was this weekend on a 1-4x, WOW! It's funny how the brain races to find funds for something like this.
Looks like a great choice.

i got spoiled by mcmillan shoing up EARLY with the goods.

i like how there are so many pictures of unmounted USOs, i predict the first 15 minutes out of the box are spent in awe until the camera is found, pictures are taken, and only then after that instinctual ritual, is it mounted.

I think the wait was around 3 months. Well worth it and they were willing to try my dots idea for a nominal fee. Can't go wrong.

Dot are an excellent idea. Parallax adj. in low light without lifting your head.

Kinda wish I had done that.

That's what tactile and audible clicks are for. I will actually probably go with a covered windage knob and EREK Elevation on my next USO since holding for wind is the way to go in most instances.

It's a must have for some actions, like Sako 75, were the case can bounce back into the action during rapid fire after hitting a rh vindage knob.

With regular AO targetscopes that have the same elevation and vindage range and dot/duplex/mildot reticle I've always mounted them 90deg counter clockwise to get lh windage. I started doing this as a jr shooter i the 70'ies with Weaver T-series scopes.

On the wait problem. You guys could check midwayusa.com and see if they have them in stock. Hell i got lucky. Went to midway saw they had a USO SN-3 3.2-17X44mm GAP milling reticle and #1 US M40 windage knob and erik elevation knob with zero stop, red illumination. Which was exactly how i customized mine on USoptics.com. Emailed them they had 1 left i jumped on it.

That is really nice. Guys I waited 6 months to get an SN3 in the first time I ordered one. I just ordered a second, hopefully it will be quicker this time.
