Feeding 300 WSM in Tikka re-do

A few years ago I set up a Tikka 300 WSM for LR hunting. It is a factory action and barrel, CDI dbm, fed by .338 AICS mags from the factory stock. I originally set it up to touch the lands or jump a couple thousandths but I don't want to chase them and I don't like the massive .338 mag. I am going to put it in an Elite Hunter stock and I want to refit the DBM and mag situation. Will 300 WSM feed from 308 AICS mags? They fit in my 308 mag but I'm unsure how feeding into the Tikka action will work. Any DBM recommendations? Thanks.

I have a 300 WSM Tikka (OEM barrel) and a 7 WSM tikka with carbon barrel.

I am using the Accurate mag 300 WSM class mag (holds 7 in a 308 10 round and 3 in a 308 5 round) AICS mags for it in a chassis. Feeds just fine.

The 7 WSM I am loading to 3.150" COAL so I am using the MDT 3.54" long AICS mags on a long action chassis so I have room for days in the mag box that is made for 300 WM and the ilk.

I tried using just a standard 308 AICS mag just for fun and that was a no go atleast in my setup. I believe Accurate mag and MDT both sell WSM specific mags and they work well if you are keeping your COAL to less than 2.950"

These mags work with a factory stock and allow wsm’s to be loaded out to long action length with a long action bolt stop in place of the short stop.
