Suppressors FFL,SOT goes out of business?

After what happen here in Ar I started wondering what if you have a NFA item in 'jail' at the gun store and they go out of business or worse get raided by the ATF? What can be expected? Stan

Local store near me went out of business. ATF expedited the forms being processed, and some people ended up with 4 month wait times. Guess this would be the optimistic side. The pessimistic would be more delays to an already long process.

ATF is not letting FFLs go out of business until all forms have cleared.

As far as going out of business-- I know of this happening to several different guys and they've all had their forms expedited as stated before, so you end up getting your gear back faster. Getting raided would probably be a totally different thing and in that case I don't think you would be able to reliably predict the outcome because it's a basis-by-basis case at that point.
