Rifle Scopes FFP scope manufacture

FFP seems more expensive scope for scope. is there a technical reason for this? more difficult to do well? or is this a supply and demnd driven price difference?

great,but,yea and in 11 you'll have 4000. thanks for the link david. answers the question. i assumed there was a technologic reason for cost general diff. the overall user intent is not something i thought about.
