I'm looking to be shooting out anywhere between 50-200y and I've owned SFP scopes only and don't even think I've looked down a FFP. So my question is that I'm getting kind of anxious that the reticle might be obscurring the target using FFP, on the other hand I'm just sick of recalculting every time I adjust power.

My must have features are
FFP
mil/mil

Thanks in advance!

Re: FFP thin reticle?

On the windage its .2 mil, on the elevation its .5 mil. It also has a .1 scale on both for ranging, though obviously not useful for holds.

P4 Fine is a common reticle that is thin as well.

Re: FFP thin reticle?

I actually ordered one of these from Scott at Liberty optics and should be here by Saturday. However I've got about 4 blind rifles sitting here and eager to get them some glass. I was going to toy around with the SB on my rimfire. If she can't handle it will be moved over to the LWRC reaper

But ya I can't wait to get the HDMR G2!

Re: FFP thin reticle?

I never really thought the FFP reticle was that dramatic as far as obscuring a target. Maybe the older ones? I believe newer FFP manufactured scopes have addressed the reticle thickness very well. I would not be concerned about it.
