The only issue I had when I first got my unit was, I had the Trimble GPS running and also the FFS GPS running at the same time. They were clashing, and didn't get any readings.
Is the Trimble GPS turned off?

Check the GPS settings. Go to the Settings mene, GPS. Program port COM4, Hardware, COM2 and 9600 and check the Manage GPS automatically on the Access tab.
In FFS, on the GPS menu, goto the Devices tab and click the Search button, it should locate the Shared NEMA device and you can click Start and it shoudl be running.
