FGMM 7.62x51 175gr vs 308 175gr

[300WSM]

one has a part # GM76M2 the other is GM308M2

one box says 308 the other says 7.62x51

what is the difference? thanks

so it looks like it might be a touch slower because of the decreased pressured allowed with 7.62 vs 308

finally got ahold of federal.

762 has a mil spec primer

308 doesn't.
