Gunsmithing Fiberglass stock need sealing after sanding?

I had to open up the barrel channel of a B&C stock. Sanded smooth and ready to do final assembly.
Does the sanded area need any type of sealant, or is it good to go, as is?

No need to seal it. Composite resins are impervious to weather and chemicals, just roll with it. You can toss a coat of paint on it if you want it to look better, but there is no need other than cosmetics.

Didn't seal mine just painted it and it worked out just fine.
