I need a good scope for my short range pest/varmint rifle. It stays in a roof gun holder in my Polaris Ranger. I bought a new Leopold VX II, 2-7 and have decided it is junk. It will not hold zero and the adjustments are just an arbitrary guess. I have sent it back for repair but in a short time it in the same condition. I like a low range variable 1" tube and a 28 mm or so objective. What are my choices in a quality scope that fits this description?
