Rifle Scopes figured it out thanks- NF Zero stop ?

Thanks- figured it out.

I have a question about the NF with the zero stop. Do all NF scopes come with the directions for a zero stop or only the zero stop models. I bought a NF scope here from a fella and it was supposed to be a zero stop. The box was still sealed with the plastic tab, marked zero stop on the side but it does not appear to be a zero stop. I had a zero stop a few years ago and I really just thought they changed the system so I did not want to ask about it. However, when I looked at my buddies zero stop today and compared it to mine, mine is without different.

I've never seen a NF wrapped.its in a box and has a bit of tape holding the flap that opens. How much did you pay and which model was it.? Could of been seller or a mistake by Nightforce. Can't tell since it was bought from an individual.

Yeh, I stand corrected, you are right, plastic tab is what I mean exactly. Do you know if all NF scopes come with zero stop directions? I cannot remember. I trust that he did not screw me thats' why I wanted to be 100% sure it was not my mistake on the model before I asked. I am guessing a NF mistake but I am sure they will not correct it now, so I will probably have to eat it. I paid just under retail for it, 2.5-10 x 32 mil-dot.

It should be one piece of paper ,he could of taken in out to read and misplaced it. Which model scope was it.zero stop on compact models have no turret caps,on full size scope models there are no hash marks underneath the turrets , the turrets dont raise or lower with elevation adjustments.

Zero stops have four small screws under the turret cover with a center screw for the adj., right? Mine does not.
It is mil adjustments wind. and elev. 2.5-10 x 32 mm 5 mils per revolution.

You have a zero stop, the zero stop mechanisms are different between the NXS and Compact NXS.

10-4, well I feel like a dumb ass now! Thanks. Yeh, I never thought I got shafted, just thought NF might have goofed up. Plus the directions in the box are not for this model zero stop. Thanks again.
