Gunsmithing Filling screw holes and lettering pre-Bluing

I am going to rust blue a barreled action, has screw holes and rem factory lettering. What is best way to fill these in a way that will not show too bad after bluing is done?

out of luck with the lettering, unless you file it down and blend it in before blueing.

plug screws get blue seperatly for a matching finish.
