Hey guys here are some pics of some hunts I have been on and one day before my brothers wedding I managed to get a pig that was roughly 200 lbs.
It was some awesome hunting.
Here is some through the scope pigs and and a pic of how far these pigs seemed to be at the arrow that says about 2000 yards away.
Here is the Pig I actually got. Being my brothers wedding was Sunday I was out Friday afternoon and Saturday. The pics of the pig I got was Friday evening and I got him Saturday. My camera batteries died so I didn't get a chance to get pics with the pig. Really that was the only part that I wish would have been a tad better.
Man that is awesome! Really exciting to see. I've been doing a lot of research on pig hunting. I recently moved to the Sacramento area.. Where were you hunting?

I was in Sonoma county on some private land there.

I got him about 100 yards away with my Remington 700 SPS Tac .308 Win. I was using my reloads 175 SMK that run about 2640 FPS. I got him below the ear and it went through his esophagus and into his vital it dropped on the spot did not kick one bit. I know some don't believe in the smk bullets but it did the job for me.
Here is the rifle (gotta say I love this damn thing I just recently got a nice .337 MOA group with the same reloads)
Well the brake is a Roedale brake that I got from Germany. It works really well and does its job just perfect. I have about 500 rounds down the barrel with this brake on and no problems at all. Here is a link to some of my videos with the brake in action on my youtube channel.
As for how I took the pics..... I used a sony dsc-hx1 camera that also records 1080 hd videos. Most of the pictures are on Friday the we were scouting the location where my buddy saw the pigs about two weeks before this trip. I was hoping to get pics of the pigs with me also but camera battery was not quite charged and died on me. It was the bad part of the trip but still a good trip over all being I actually got the pig. I still got the head in my freezer. Here is a video of through the SWFA 5-20x50 SS HD scope.
