Finally found a good load for my .223

.223 Rem, 1:12 twist.. As the target says, 23.5gr H322 with a 52gr SMK seated .005" jammed. Rem Brass and cci Br4 primers.

I'm fairly satisfied, as this is a factory 700. Only mod is that I put a HS stock from a 700P on it.



Would you guys be satisfied with this? Perhaps playing with seating depth a little might improve the groups? I wouldn't think that I could do TOO much better with a factory rifle but who knows.


Side note, these results did not coincide at all with my ladder test (which showed a "node" at 24-24.2) .. but I think its because of temp. I did the ladder test at something like 5*F and today was 60*F
